[SITA Hackathon 2022] Welcome Session Recording + Links to Resources

Hi everyone

Thank you for attending the Welcome and Introduction Session.

If you weren't able to do so, you can now access it via Welcome & Introduction Session Recording. The recording, presentation and below resources are all available on our SLACK Community - we would highly encourage you JOIN IT.

Here are also some links to free and relevant datasets:

Additionally, below are some resources to help build your MVP (you can choose to use any/none/all as you'd like):
  • Miro for brainstorming phase as it has a lot of different boards through which you can collaborate and plan including mind mapping.
  • Balsamiq is great for wireframes as it allows you to sketch out user interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile apps.
  • Webflow is a design tool for building simple, well-detailed website prototypes.
  • Figma allows you to build great UI/UX experiences with ease.
  • Canva is a perfect design tool with free templates and a drag-and-drop feature, so you just need to choose the graphics, photos, and fonts to use, and the app will turn all your wildest ideas into a stunning design. This is great for adding elements to your MVP or to design your presentation.
  • Macaw is a perfect no-code tool for MVP developers. It allows you to create your website by simply selecting and dragging graphics as you like.
  • Thunkable allows you to create beautiful and robust mobile applications with no coding knowledge.
  • Github for you to build, ship and maintain your code.

Have fun and don't forget to send in your project submissions by MIDNIGHT on Sunday, 3rd July 2022!

Warm regards,
The SITA Hackathon 2022 Team
